Over at Kingdom Bloggers this week we are each sharing about our favorite Bible verse or passage and how we've applied it in our lives.
I'd be interested to know, what's a favorite Bible verse or passage of yours?

Isaiah 55:6-11 ... It's one of my passages I committed to memory in 2010. I like the entire passage, because it speaks of God's great mercy given to a people who don't deserve it.
"Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call out to Him while He is near.
Let the wicked man turn from his ways, and the sinner forsake his evil thoughts, and let him turn to God, and He will show him mercy, and to our Lord, and He will freely pardon.
'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,' says the Lord.
'As high as the heavens are above the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.
As the rain and snow come down from heaven and do not return to it without watering the earth, making it bud and flourish so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so too, is My word which goes out from my mouth. It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.'"
Not sure if it is a favorite, but I actually like Psalm 13, which most people would regard as an otherwise depressing Psalm. It gives me great confidence and comfort to know that David, "a man after God's own heart" could go through such times of despair and feeling like God had abandoned him, and yet there was an underlying confidence that God is there and will eventually restore him and make His face to shine upon him.
"And I will be with you always; to the end of time" Matthew 28:19.
Enough said.
God bless.
Matthew 7:16 “You will know them by their fruits.”
Use this verse to remember how to discern if another person is sharing information that can be valuable to you. For example, would you follow a person who is broke but they want to teach you about financial success? Their fruits (being broke) tell you that the information is no good. Law of Attraction (the modern explanation talked about in The Secret and in other popular philosophy today) says that as you think, you receive. In other words, your thoughts are like a tree that produces fruit.
