Lamentations 3:20-30
I'll never forget the trouble, the utter lostness, the taste of ashes, the poison I've swallowed. I remember it all—oh, how well I remember— the feeling of hitting the bottom. But there's one other thing I remember, and remembering, I keep a grip on hope: God's loyal love couldn't have run out, his merciful love couldn't have dried up. They're created new every morning. How great your faithfulness!

So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover's life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.

My best friend of 35+ years died last week. Knowing that Christ conquered death makes this a joyous occasion.

It's the greatest event in man's history....it split time in half. The resurrection means that by believing in Jesus Christ birth, death and resurrection, we have come to accept Him as Lord and Savior, and we are reborn---just as Christ was dead, we are dead to our sins, and given new life through the Holy Spirit ---freedom from sins.
